Description

Support the implementation, development, and long-term maintenance of SAP in the Technology Platform area, where SAP serves as the company’s general ledger system. Translate accounting, controlling, and procurement business requirements into SAP configuration and system processes, working with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Technology teams, and external vendors. Own assigned topics, validate delivered solutions, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the SAP environment.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP implementation as the general ledger system

• Convert accounting, controlling, and procurement requirements into SAP configuration and system processes

• Collaborate with external implementation partners and challenge solutions for quality and business fit

• Work closely with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams

• Support data migration, integrations, and data flows between SAP and other systems

• Configure, maintain, and develop SAP processes after implementation

• Take ownership of assigned topics, identify risks, and propose solutions

• Support long-term development of the SAP environment

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SAP for financial systems, especially SAP used as a general ledger system

• Hands-on experience implementing SAP from scratch in an organization

• Practical understanding of accounting and controlling processes (general ledger, chart of accounts, accounting configuration)

• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP configuration and system solutions

• Experience configuring and maintaining SAP processes internally

• Experience integrating SAP with other systems and managing financial data flows

• Ability to verify and challenge solutions delivered by external vendors

• Strong analytical skills and a project-oriented mindset

• Excellent communication skills with demanding business stakeholders (especially Accounting and Finance)
