Description

You will design, configure, implement, and enhance the Google Knowledge Catalog platform. The role includes building integrations for automated metadata acquisition and synchronization, implementing metadata enrichment and lifecycle management, and creating data lineage and impact analysis capabilities. You will also integrate enterprise access management/authorization, apply Infrastructure as Code standards, automate deployments, and provide monitoring, documentation, and operational handover support.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and enhance Google Knowledge Catalog

• Develop integrations for automated metadata acquisition and synchronization

• Build solutions for metadata enrichment and metadata lifecycle management

• Design and implement data lineage and impact analysis

• Integrate the platform with enterprise access management and authorization

• Define Infrastructure as Code standards and deployment automation practices

• Develop technical solutions supporting governance processes and data products

• Conduct technical analyses and proof of concepts

• Implement monitoring, reporting, and operational control mechanisms

• Prepare technical, operational, and maintenance documentation

• Support platform handover, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer

• Collaborate with business analysts, governance teams, and platform stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience with platform configuration and system integration

• Experience developing enterprise data management or metadata management solutions

• Understanding of Data Governance and metadata management concepts

• Experience implementing APIs and system integrations

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation

• Experience preparing technical documentation

• Ability to perform proof-of-concept and technical analysis activities

• Understanding of access management and authorization concepts

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams

• Work from the European Union region and have a work permit
