Description

You will lead and oversee a complex cloud and data transformation program, combining delivery management with active involvement in architectural design and key technical decision-making. You will act as the main technical discussion partner for client leadership and principal engineers, ensuring alignment between business goals, technical architecture, and strict regulatory requirements. You will also provide hands-on direction for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and modernized data initiatives, and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end engagement delivery for a complex program

• Partner with client leadership (C-level/Director) and principal engineers on technical discussions

• Define implementation strategy, project governance, manage risks, and set escalation paths

• Make key architectural decisions across cloud infrastructure, data, security, and compliance

• Provide practical hands-on guidance and direction for architecture on GCP and data modernization initiatives

• Ensure consistency between business objectives, technical architecture, and regulatory requirements

• Mentor engineering teams and uphold high software engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

• Deep commercial knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in architecture and engineering

• Documented experience delivering large-scale data platform deployments

• Experience collaborating in heavily regulated environments (GxP, pharma, healthcare, finance, or related)

• Excellent communication and business skills; proven ability to build client relationships and manage stakeholders (C-level/Director level)

• Practical English proficiency at least B2/C1 for written and spoken communication
