Description

You will design, build, and scale production-ready AI solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP. You will combine AI engineering, system design, and software engineering to deliver reliable solutions, owning them from problem definition and architecture through deployment into production. You will also define evaluation frameworks and optimize for quality, latency, cost, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex AI and GenAI solutions including LLM applications, RAG, NLP/NLU pipelines, tool-calling, and agentic workflows

• Own technical solutions end-to-end: problem definition, architecture, implementation, deployment, and production support

• Define and develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI system quality and performance

• Optimize solutions across quality, latency, cost, reliability, and scalability

• Work on prompt optimization, retrieval, re-ranking, embeddings, caching, and model selection

• Lead technical discovery and translate business requirements into practical AI solutions

• Identify where AI provides real business value versus alternative approaches

• Support and mentor other AI engineers via design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing

• Stay up to date with LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, evaluation, and fine-tuning

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Applied Data Science, or similar

• Hands-on experience developing and running LLM-based solutions in production

• Strong Python and software engineering skills including testing, CI/CD, version control, and observability

• Experience with RAG including embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, and re-ranking

• Practical knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or DSPy

• Experience designing and implementing AI evaluation frameworks

• Experience optimizing production AI solutions for performance, cost, and reliability

• Experience with MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud

• Ability to communicate complex technical topics in English and work effectively in international, cross-functional teams

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical work

Nice to have

• Experience with Kedro, KServe, and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of AI security and governance in an enterprise environment

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or other complex operational environments
