Description

You will advance and modularize Puppet Enterprise full automation. The role includes developing, testing, and optimizing infrastructure and application deployments from concept to productive operation, with orchestration using Puppet Plans and Puppet Tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modularize Puppet Enterprise full automation

• Build, test, and optimize infrastructure and application deployments from idea to productive use

• Orchestrate workflows with Puppet Plans and Tasks

• Conduct quality-assurance reviews in Git workflows (four-eyes principle)

• Develop, deploy, and monitor metrics

• Provide 3rd-level application support in special cases

• Support and advise project and product teams as well as external partners

Requirements

• Knowledge in configuration management, automation, and orchestration

• Practical experience with Puppet and Hiera

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools

• Solid working knowledge of Terraform

• Basic object-oriented programming foundations

• Comfortable working with scripting/programming languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Java

• Good practical knowledge of Linux
