Contract: Employment contract (umowa o pracę)

Description

You’ll lead the direction of a newly built native B2C mobile e-commerce application for automotive parts and translate it into delivery by the product team. You’ll collaborate with designers and developers on subsequent releases, validate ideas via discovery, and then improve the experience using data and customer feedback. You’ll also verify release outcomes and refine priorities based on metrics like conversion, activation, and returning users.

Responsibilities

  • Define product goals and the roadmap; set the scope for upcoming app versions.
  • Run discovery together with designers and developers to understand customer needs and verify solution assumptions.
  • Own backlog prioritization and clarity so the team understands the problem and how success will be measured.
  • Align requirements with stakeholders and coordinate with teams building backend and other systems.
  • Develop a consistent shopping experience across the app and website, including cart synchronization and push notifications for abandoned purchases.
  • Support release preparation and ensure delivered functionality matches the defined needs.
  • Build a measurement plan, analyze results after deployment, and use insights to set next priorities (e.g., purchase conversion, activation, returns).

Requirements

  • Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager in commercial mobile app development, including e-commerce or m-commerce.
  • Ability to communicate product decisions and their post-launch effects.
  • Skill in prioritizing based on user needs and business objectives.
  • Ability to factor in implementation cost, risk, and what to stop at each stage.
  • Experience with discovery and collaboration with designers and developers before starting development; comfortable working when some information must be gathered.
  • Product analytics skills: choose metrics, analyze the purchase journey, and confirm that changes deliver expected impact.
  • Understanding of iOS and Android patterns and app release/publishing processes; ability to assess and improve mobile purchase UX.
  • Knowledge of cross-channel e-commerce: plan purchase journeys across app and website so customers can switch devices and continue shopping.
  • Backlog management experience: clearly describe functionality, set acceptance criteria, and understand backend/other-system dependencies on scope and sequencing.
  • Ability to align priorities with stakeholders, explain decisions, and handle conflicting expectations.
  • Fluent communication in Polish and English.

Benefits

  • Real influence on the direction of an app built from scratch and its further development.
  • Hybrid work with in-office presence (preferably 2–3 days/week); office located in Warsaw (Galeria Młociny near Młociny metro station).
  • Employment contract (umowa o pracę).
  • Opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
  • Preferential additional benefits and an employee discount on automotive parts from the Inter Cars group.
  • Internal and external training and co-financing for English language classes.
