Description

Provide operational maintenance services for the Trade Operations IS test environments to ensure smooth operations and effective incident resolution for development and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Control-M job scheduling: understand dependencies and handle job failures

• Log analysis: diagnose issues using application/server logs (e.g., JBoss/Tomcat)

• Shell scripting: automate routine tasks and maintenance activities

• SQL operations: run SQL queries for data retrieval and basic troubleshooting

• Deployment support: assist with application deployments (e.g., via Jenkins)

• Incident resolution: investigate and resolve production incidents

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring issues

• Documentation: update technical documentation and knowledge bases

• Team collaboration with cross-regional teams to understand project requirements

• Version control using Git

• Java coding: write clean and efficient Java code

• CI/CD exposure using Jenkins to support release automation

Requirements

• Java (Java 8+), bash/Shell scripting, and SQL/PL-SQL

• Jenkins and Git for CI/CD and release automation

• Proven experience in Application Support or DevSecOps Engineering in a complex enterprise environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for international teams
