Description

You will develop backend services for trading, risk, and capital-markets workflows, including real-time and event-driven systems. Work may cover market data, positions/exposures, pricing services, risk engines, post-trade processing, and regulatory technology. The emphasis is on data quality, performance, resilience, correctness, and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services supporting trading, risk, and capital-markets workflows

• Develop real-time and event-driven systems

• Implement market data, positions, exposures, or pricing-related services

• Create high-throughput data processing and integration pipelines

• Build APIs and integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems

• Design for correctness, resilience, and auditability

• Participate in technical design and architecture decisions with senior engineers and domain stakeholders

• Provide production support and continuous improvement for business-critical platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong backend engineering skills in Java, Kotlin, Python and/or C++

• Experience with distributed, event-driven, or high-volume systems

• Solid understanding of production reliability and failure handling

• Good SQL and data-handling skills

• Good English

• Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders

• Commercial experience in investment banking, capital markets, asset management, hedge funds, or financial risk technology
