Description

Join the establishment of a Java Center of Excellence and contribute to building and maintaining Java backend applications in a collaborative, innovative environment. You will mentor junior developers, help with onboarding, and participate in CI/CD and application architecture discussions, including microservices and hexagonal approaches. The team works in a horizontal structure with no traditional management hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Help establish a center of excellence

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications

• Mentor and coach junior team members

• Facilitate onboarding and act as a role model

• Collaborate within a horizontal organization

• Participate in CI/CD practices and application architecture discussions

Requirements

• Higher education degree

• 5+ years of Java backend development experience

• Proficiency with Spring or Spring Boot

• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL

• Familiarity with JPA and Hibernate

• Knowledge of application architecture (microservices-based, hexagonal, etc.)

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools

• English proficiency at B2 level

• Work model: 4 days in-office initially, then 3 days in-office and 2 days remote

• Work schedule: 43 hours/week in winter and 39 hours/week in summer, with additional compensation days
