• Role: Full-Stack Developer focused on an AI and API platform self-service portal

Description

You will build and maintain backend and frontend components of a self-service portal that supports onboarding and service management across Kong AI and API platform capabilities. You’ll develop Spring Boot backend services, create React/TypeScript UI features with Material UI, and design/consume REST APIs to ensure reliable platform integrations. You will also contribute to AI-driven features and integrations, including LLMs and related patterns such as MCP and A2A.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend portal components and implement new capabilities

• Build backend services with Spring Boot

• Create frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI

• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal apps or external vendors

• Design and consume REST APIs for well-structured service interfaces

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready platform capabilities

• Support future AI-driven features and integrations (LLMs, MCP, A2A)

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Development (or equivalent practical experience)

• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer

• Must have technical skills: Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, building and consuming REST APIs
