Description

Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of a self-service portal that enables teams to onboard, manage, and operate services securely and efficiently across Kong AI and API platform capabilities. Build backend services with Spring Boot, frontend features with React/TypeScript/Material UI, and integration layers that connect the gateway with internal systems and external vendors. Contribute to future AI-driven features and integrations supporting LLMs, MCP, and A2A.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of the self-service portal

• Build backend services using Spring Boot

• Create frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI

• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors

• Design and consume REST APIs for reliable, maintainable service interfaces

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready platform capabilities

• Contribute to AI-driven features and integrations within the platform (LLMs, MCP, A2A)

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer

• Hands-on fullstack experience across backend and frontend

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs

• Experience with integrations between applications, platforms, and vendors

• Interest or experience with AI technologies and integration patterns (LLMs, MCP, A2A)

• Must have: Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and experience building/consuming REST APIs
