Description

You will design, develop, and support infrastructure automation solutions that enable consistent, scalable, and secure cloud platform deployments. The role uses Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and cloud engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency, deployment reliability, and platform governance. You will also integrate automated deployment and release processes via Azure DevOps and troubleshoot automation and IaC failures.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform, and related automation technologies
• Develop automation workflows for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational support
• Implement cloud deployment standards, naming conventions, and governance controls across Azure environments
• Automate platform provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Logic Apps
• Support development and infrastructure teams with automated deployment and release processes through Azure DevOps
• Maintain source-controlled infrastructure repositories and enforce deployment/configuration management standards
• Troubleshoot IaC deployment failures, automation issues, and platform configuration problems
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement secure and standardized platform solutions
• Document automation solutions, deployment procedures, architectural standards, and operational support processes
• Analyze deployment performance and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to cloud modernization, migration, and best-practice development

Requirements

• 7+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, automation, or platform engineering experience
• Expert administration and support of Microsoft Azure environments for enterprise infrastructure solutions
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, storage, monitoring, and platform services
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools: Terraform, Bicep, Azure ARM Templates, JSON-based deployment frameworks
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI; experience building/supporting Azure Logic Apps and automation workflows
• Skills supporting Azure DevOps pipelines, deployment automation, source control, and release management practices
• Experience implementing automated deployment solutions and CI/CD integration for infrastructure delivery
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development
• Experience implementing infrastructure standards, cloud governance controls, and deployment best practices
• Understanding of operational resiliency, infrastructure security, and change management processes
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and performing root cause analysis across cloud environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure private endpoints and private DNS
• Experience with Azure governance frameworks, policies, and management groups
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
