Description

Design, develop, and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions for consistent, scalable, and secure cloud platform deployments in Microsoft Azure. Build automation workflows for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, reporting, and operational support, and integrate them with Azure DevOps deployment and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IaC solutions using Bicep, Azure ARM Templates, Terraform, and related deployment automation
• Develop automation workflows for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational support
• Implement Azure deployment standards, naming conventions, and governance controls
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Logic Apps
• Enable automated deployment and release processes for development and infrastructure teams via Azure DevOps
• Maintain source-controlled infrastructure repositories and adhere to deployment/configuration management standards
• Troubleshoot IaC deployment failures and automation/platform configuration issues
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement standardized, secure platforms
• Document automation solutions, deployment procedures, standards, and operational support processes
• Analyze deployment performance and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Support cloud modernization and migration initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, automation, or platform engineering experience
• Expert administration and support of Microsoft Azure environments in enterprise contexts
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, storage, monitoring, and platform services
• Expertise in IaC methodologies and tools: Terraform, Bicep, Azure ARM Templates, JSON-based deployment frameworks
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI; experience with Azure Logic Apps and automation workflows
• Experience supporting Azure DevOps pipelines, source control, and release-management practices
• Experience implementing automated deployment solutions and CI/CD integration for infrastructure delivery
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development practices
• Experience implementing infrastructure standards, cloud governance controls, and deployment best practices
• Understanding of operational resiliency, infrastructure security, and change management
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and performing root-cause analysis
