Focus: Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and GitOps for e-commerce systems

Description

Develop and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and platform components supporting e-commerce systems across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD. Design and operate CI/CD processes, ensure observability through monitoring and alerting, and manage Kubernetes deployments via Helm charts using a GitOps approach. Automate tasks with Bash scripts and support engineering teams with tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab, and Keycloak.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the platform and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Maintain and evolve DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments for e-commerce systems
• Collaborate closely with development teams building e-commerce solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD processes
• Provide observability: monitoring, alerting, and fast issue detection
• Create and maintain Helm charts
• Automate tasks using Bash scripts
• Administer supporting tools used by teams, including ArgoCD, GitLab, and Keycloak

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Linux, and Git
• Experience with PostgreSQL and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana)
• Very good scripting skills, especially Bash
• Experience building pipelines in GitLab CI/CD
• Helm chart creation skills and knowledge of GitOps
• English proficiency of at least B2
