Description

As an AEP/AJO Engineer, you will translate client data sources and business use cases into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) requirements. You will design and maintain XDM schemas, identity namespaces, and merge policies; configure ingestion (batch/streaming) and data collection via Web SDK/Mobile SDK, Tags, datastreams, and event forwarding. You will also build and validate audiences in Real-Time CDP, configure activation destinations, and set up Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) journeys, offers, and decisioning rules.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client data sources and business use cases and convert them into AEP requirements

• Design and maintain XDM schemas, field groups, identity namespaces, and merge policies

• Configure data ingestion (batch and streaming), Data Prep mappings, and datasets

• Implement data collection using Web SDK and Mobile SDK, including Tags, datastreams, and event forwarding

• Build and validate audiences in Real-Time CDP and configure activation destinations

• Write SQL in Query Service and Data Distiller for data checks, derived datasets, and computed attributes

• Configure AJO journeys, offers, and decisioning rules

• Support integrations with client infrastructure (e.g., Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Factory, or AEP APIs)

• Participate in client workshops and, over time, lead design sessions, platform training, and handover

• Write clear technical documentation that client teams can actually maintain

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Platform experience on at least one implementation that went live

• Practical experience with XDM schemas, identity namespaces, datasets, and profile and merge policy configuration

• Experience building audiences in Real-Time CDP and activating them to destinations

• Solid SQL, ideally in Query Service

• Comfort with JSON, AEP APIs, and tools like Postman

• Experience working directly with client stakeholders: requirements, workshops, and explaining trade-offs

• Polish native/fluent; English B2/C1
