Description

Join a strategic data transformation program focused on migrating analytics from on-premise to GCP and building the data architecture and data model from scratch with a strong emphasis on business value and improved customer experience (CX). You will design and implement data governance on GCP, including metadata/data catalog management, data lineage, quality, ownership, access policies, and data contracts. You’ll collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and data owners while supporting business users in finding, understanding, and using data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Data Governance processes and standards in a GCP environment

• Build and develop the data catalog and manage metadata

• Define metadata models, catalog structures, and relationships between data objects

• Implement solutions for data lineage, data quality, and data ownership

• Create and enforce access management standards and policies

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and data owners on governance and data quality

• Support business users with data discovery, understanding, and usage

• Define and implement Data Contracts and data exchange standards

• Document processes, standards, and data models

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Governance / Data Management / Data Quality

• Experience in data modeling and working with metadata

• Advanced SQL skills with practical experience in query optimization, aggregations, and index management

• Knowledge of data lineage, data quality, data stewardship, and data ownership

• Experience with technical documentation and code review

• Strong teamwork and communication with business, technical, and analytics teams

• Proactive, responsible, and quality-focused mindset for data
