Description

You will guide customers on ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, exploring, and visualizing data in GDC air-gapped environments (GDC-AG), including explaining differences between GCP and GDC-AG. The role includes designing and building data pipelines and architectures (ETL/ELT and reporting/analytics), deploying applications across both environments, and implementing customer-tailored machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on data ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, exploration, and visualization in GDC air-gapped environments

• Support migration of data analytics and AI workloads to GDC-AG with a focus on post-deployment guidance

• Explain key differences between GCP and GDC-AG to technical and business stakeholders

• Deploy applications across GCP and GDC-AG

• Design and build data pipelines, data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic environments

• Build and implement machine learning solutions tailored to customer needs

• Set up Cloud Networking and Landing Zones for customer environments

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation pipelines

• Collaborate with Google account teams, partners, and customers across EMEA

• Travel to the Netherlands once or twice every two months

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering roles

• Expertise in GDC Air-Gap

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform with hands-on experience deploying applications across GCP and GDC-AG

• Background in distributed/sovereign solutions and familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE)

• Knowledge of Fabric Fast Customization

• Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform

• Competency in automation and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of Cloud Networking and Landing Zone setup

• Experience designing data pipelines, data architectures, and ETL/ELT reporting/analytic environments

• Capability to build machine learning solutions and work directly with technical customers

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Certification

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
