Description

Join a data transformation program focused on moving analytics from on-premises to GCP while building data contract architecture from scratch. You’ll define standards for data contracts, implement schema and data quality validations, and establish processes for contract creation and evaluation. The goal is to strengthen business value and support CX through reliable, automated data quality foundations.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and standards for data contracts within the organization

• Design and implement data contracts (formats, schemas, validation, versioning)

• Implement automated schema validations and data quality checks

• Select tools that support automation of data contracts

• Establish processes for creating, maintaining, and evaluating data contracts

• Collaborate with product teams, data engineering, BI, and data owners; support developer teams in defining contracts

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of practical experience in Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Quality, analytics, or a related area

• Experience independently designing and implementing cross-functional solutions

• Practical knowledge of Data Contracts and data quality requirements, plus tools supporting contract automation (e.g., OpenAPI/JSON Schema and CI/CD + data QA tooling)

• Experience with data analysis, processing, and modeling; knowledge of data warehouse and Big Data architectures

• Advanced SQL query skills backed by professional experience

• Experience designing data models and building data layers

• Hands-on data quality assurance (testing, monitoring, alerting)

• Experience with technical documentation and code review

• Ability to lead initiatives involving multiple teams (identify dependencies, define responsibilities, manage blockers, drive decisions)

• Ability to work when requirements are incomplete or the solution is not obvious (from problem definition to implementation)

• Teamwork and communication with business, technical, and analytical teams

• Proactive, responsible attitude with a strong focus on data quality
