Description

You will help clients design, develop, and maintain IT infrastructure environments by gathering requirements, shaping solution concepts, and preparing the technical portion of proposals. You will run client conversations and workshops, develop infrastructure concepts across servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and related networking topics, and compare technology options based on requirements, cost, availability, scalability, and maintainability.

You will coordinate with sales, architects, engineers, and technology producers to confirm configurations, sizing, compliance, and licensing details.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client discussions and workshops to understand the current environment, business needs, constraints, and growth plans
• Develop infrastructure solution concepts covering servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and related networking topics
• Select and compare technologies considering requirements, cost, availability, expansion, and maintenance
• Prepare technical parts of proposals: architecture diagrams, component lists, and solution descriptions
• Work with vendors and distributors on configuration, sizing, and validation of compliance and licensing rules
• Consult the technical team on implementation scope, effort, dependencies, and risks
• Analyze technical requirements in RFPs/tenders, flag ambiguities, and prepare questions for the customer
• Present solutions to clients and hand over agreed scope, assumptions, and decisions to the implementation team

Requirements

• Experience working with IT infrastructure gained in presales, administration, design, or implementation
• Understand how servers, storage, virtualization, network, and backup work together and how their selection affects the overall environment
• Practical knowledge of at least one main infrastructure area and willingness to deepen knowledge
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, performance, capacity, and scalability
• Ability to ask questions, identify missing information, and explain proposed solutions clearly to clients
• Strong organization: track agreements, deadlines, and open topics
• English proficiency to use documentation and communicate with vendor representatives
