Description

Own the agentic versioning model, promotion workflow, and rollback patterns across an agent estate to support a production-grade, cloud-native enterprise agent development platform. Define immutable unit versioning for agent containers, prompt configuration, tool bindings, and policy associations; manage AWS AgentCore Runtime versioning, endpoints, and ECR image lifecycle and signing. Enforce evaluation gates from dev to QA to prod, enable safe rollbacks to previous agent versions, and integrate version metadata into an agent registry.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the agentic versioning model as an immutable unit (container image, prompt configuration, tool bindings, policy associations)

• Manage AWS AgentCore Runtime versioning, including automatic version creation on image push and endpoint management for DEFAULT and named endpoints

• Design and enforce promotion workflow dev → qa → prod with evaluation gates before production release

• Establish rollback patterns that restore previous versions and validate prior functionality

• Configure AWS ECR for agent images, including ARM64 tagging, lifecycle policies, and image signing

• Integrate with the Agent Registry to auto-register agent versions with metadata (evaluation results, promotion status)

• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize versioning and lifecycle practices across the agent estate

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MLOps or DevOps engineering with AI/ML systems

• Hands-on experience with deployment, promotion, or rollback workflows for AI agents

• Experience in versioning and lifecycle management for LLM agents or ML models

• Experience with immutable artifact versioning at enterprise scale using ECR and model registries

• Experience in CI/CD pipeline design with quality gates for AI systems

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
