Description

Build a new engineering team in Warsaw from the ground up to accelerate agentic reporting across Asana’s product lines. Partner with the Reporting Foundations team in New York to co-own the stack from frontend components through the database. Lead architecture and delivery practices, collaborating with Product Management, Design, and platform product teams to deliver intuitive agentic dashboards and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an engineering team in Warsaw, hiring engineers and coaching growth
• Guide system architecture across the stack and coach engineers on technical tradeoffs
• Establish planning and delivery practices for rapid shipping without sacrificing quality
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Design and product teams using the platform
• Champion accountability for key outcomes and connect team work to strategic goals
• Align roadmap, ownership boundaries, and technical direction with the New York team

Requirements

• Prior experience leading engineering teams building scalable web applications
• Deep understanding of software architecture
• Proven ability to coach engineers through complex technical tradeoffs
• Experience building delivery practices that enable predictable shipping
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and interest in AI-native products
• Track record collaborating effectively with Product Managers and Designers
• Clear communicator with a supportive, collaborative leadership style

Compensation (estimated)

34,000–39,000 PLN gross per month base salary (subject to taxes/deductions; may change based on interview and market factors).
