Description

Build and evolve the PrestaShop eCommerce platform and take long-term ownership of features—from architecture to the functionality used daily by merchants worldwide. You’ll join teams working on payments/checkout, core platform foundations, marketplace & billing, and AI-driven solutions such as PrestaShop MCP and AskAI.

Responsibilities

• Develop PrestaShop Payments and checkout solutions.
• Improve core platform foundations used across modules and partners.
• Build marketplace payment and billing platform capabilities for modules and services.
• Create AI-based eCommerce solutions (e.g., PrestaShop MCP, AskAI).

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of PHP 8.x and Symfony (and its ecosystem).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and query optimization.
• Experience writing automated tests (PHPUnit, Behat, integration tests).
• Very good Git skills (rebase, conflict resolution, code review).
• Experience working on large, long-developed projects.
• Knowledge of web application security (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, authentication, authorization).
• Ability to lead code reviews and give constructive feedback.
• Open mindset toward open-source collaboration and community work.
• English proficiency (minimum B2) for speaking and writing.
