Description

Develop and maintain PrestaShop-based e-commerce solutions while partnering with clients to gather requirements and recommend technical options. Explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and confidently propose solutions using research and independent problem-solving. Participate in estimation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within a collaborative international open-source environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PrestaShop-based solutions
• Participate in client meetings: requirements gathering, technical consulting, proposing solutions
• Translate technical topics into understandable language for non-technical people
• Estimate tasks and projects
• Contribute to code review and share knowledge with the team
• Collaborate with international team and open-source community

Requirements

• Min. 2 years of commercial experience with PrestaShop (modules, themes, store configuration)
• Good knowledge of PHP 8.x
• Experience working with Symfony
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and basic design patterns
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB)
• Ability to write tests (PHPUnit)
• Good knowledge of Git and working with code review
• Knowledge of web application security basics (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection)
• Experience estimating tasks
• Very good English for client conversations (min. B2+/C1)
• Communication skills and confidence with client interactions
