• Work mode: Remote within Poland, with occasional office visits up to 2 times per month (Warsaw, Poznań, or Kraków)

• Contract: B2B (1200–1440 PLN/MD)

Description

You will join a team building and evolving strategic systems supporting a major Polish e-commerce platform. The project involves creating scalable applications and services based on a microservices architecture to serve millions of users and handle huge daily data volumes. You’ll develop backend services and APIs, design new modules, and maintain high performance, reliability, and technical quality while working closely with Product Managers, Data Analysts, and UX designers.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs

• Design and implement microservices-based solutions

• Design architecture for new modules and evolve existing systems

• Maintain high code quality through tests, code reviews, and engineering best practices

• Use AI tools that support software development

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Analysts, and UX designers to define business and technical requirements

• Initiate architectural improvements and optimize existing solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer

• Very good knowledge of Kotlin and Java

• Practical experience building frontend applications with React

• Practical experience building applications with Spring Boot

• Experience building and evolving microservices-based systems

• Ability to write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code

• Knowledge of MongoDB and Spring Data MongoDB

• Experience working with cloud solutions, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Ability to effectively use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or similar agentic coding solutions

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices

• Ability to collaborate effectively with product and business teams
