Description

Support securities settlement operations in Warsaw, ensuring smooth settlement processing during periods of increased market activity and while preparing for the T+1 settlement cycle. You will repair inbound and outbound trade instructions (including SWIFT MT54x), monitor settlement queues with operational tools, and follow operational risk guidelines, internal controls, and SOPs. You will also escalate unresolved issues and support the team during higher repair volumes and T+1-related workload.

Responsibilities

• Repair inbound and outbound trade instructions, including SWIFT MT54x messages

• Monitor and process operational queues using settlement tools (SFE, IC, SECORE)

• Ensure compliance with operational risk guidelines, internal controls, and standard operating procedures

• Escalate unresolved issues and high-value risks in a timely and structured manner

• Support the team during increased repair volumes and additional workload related to T+1 implementation

• Maintain high accuracy and control awareness across daily settlement activities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in operations, securities settlement, post-trade, or similar financial services processes

• Knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade workflows

• Familiarity with SWIFT MT54x messaging (hands-on repair experience highly valued)

• Strong attention to detail and understanding of controls and operational risk

• Ability to work under pressure and proactively escalate issues

• Availability to work shifts within the 8:00–19:00 CET coverage window

• Experience working in regulated environments with strict process discipline

• Fluent English

• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
