Description

You will help build SnowCommand, providing employees a single place to work with production metadata across systems and workflows, with controls such as role-based access, approvals, and full auditability.

You will develop production-critical workflows, design metrics and experiments, and implement projects spanning a stack that includes TypeScript services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with product and design partners and help define product vision and team planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine workflows critical to Snowflake’s business

• Design metrics and experiments to validate insights

• Implement projects across the stack, including TypeScript services in Snowflake and Kubernetes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management and design)

• Deliver features requiring coordination with partner teams

• Participate in defining product vision and team planning

• Identify problems, instrument components as needed, and implement solutions

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in CS (or equivalent discipline)

• 2+ years hands-on software engineering experience

• 2+ years maintaining a production system

• Interest in state-of-the-art LLM-based solutions

• Experience with modern application design architecture, API design patterns, and performance/scale

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node, and Express

• Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in a cloud environment

• Strong communication skills; comfort working with diverse peers and external developers
