Description

You will act as a functional expert and key liaison between the business, SAP teams, and IT. The role includes ownership of BAU application management, translating business needs into SAP functional requirements, and supporting compliance-related projects and integrations. You will also coordinate vendor delivery quality, lead testing and validation, and handle incidents, service requests, and changes as a senior escalation point.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional expert and connector between business, SAP teams, and IT

• Own SAP Product Compliance application management and BAU

• Analyze business needs and define functional SAP requirements

• Support projects and integrations related to Product Compliance

• Participate in design, testing, and validation of solutions

• Improve and enhance custom SAP Fiori compliance applications

• Coordinate external SAP supplier activities (delegation, follow-up, and delivery quality verification)

• Support incident handling, service requests, and changes as senior functional escalation point

• Plan and execute BAU releases and project changes

• Collaborate with related applications (e.g., EcoPortal, Sphera, OCC)

• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security vulnerability remediation activities

• Work with the business on process standardization, solution adoption, and continuous improvement

• Support SAP S/4HANA conversion initiatives

• Support change management and, when needed, business users

Requirements

• Several years of SAP experience as Functional Analyst, Application Manager, or similar functional role

• Practical knowledge of SAP Product Compliance and/or SAP EHS (HSE/HESQ-related processes)

• Experience with SAP Application Management / BAU / Application Support

• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional requirements

• Experience coordinating changes, integrations, testing, and business validation

• Experience working with external SAP vendors/suppliers

• Ability to verify and challenge vendor delivery quality

• Knowledge of incident/change/release management processes

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Independence and ability to take ownership of the assigned area

• Fluent English
