Description

The Solutions Architect will lead the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure to support large-scale application modernisation and digital transformation. The role defines target architectures, drives best practices across cloud technologies and AI, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design the Azure-based architecture for a modernized core banking platform

• Define resilience requirements across multiple availability zones and possibly multiple cloud providers

• Assess multi-cloud strategies to determine feasibility of a single-cloud approach

• Develop cloud exit and recovery strategies compliant with regulatory expectations

• Ensure the architecture supports business continuity, failover, and operational resilience

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage networking and cloud dependencies

Requirements

• Senior Azure Solutions Architect experience

• Background in the banking industry

• Expertise in cloud resilience and high availability

• Knowledge of disaster recovery processes

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-driven technologies

• Previous participation in legacy system migration efforts
