Description

You will design and develop scalable data solutions and AI-driven automation on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The role includes building ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing OCR-based Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure AI services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data processing solutions in Azure

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics

• Develop OCR and IDP solutions for automated document processing

• Extract, transform, and integrate data from documents into enterprise systems and reporting

• Work with Azure Data Lake and modern data architectures

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI-driven automation opportunities

• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to DataOps best practices

• Support implementation of AI and Machine Learning initiatives

• Process multilingual documents, forms, and unstructured data

• Contribute to new AI/ML automation initiatives

• OCR automation for cash register reports

• Extract data from receipts and invoices

• Automate document data extraction and integration into downstream systems

• Digitize and automate paper-based customer surveys

• Combine OCR, text analytics, and sentiment analysis

• Process multilingual documents and forms

• Build new AI-driven automation solutions

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Data Engineering

• Hands-on Azure Databricks experience

• Solid Azure Synapse Analytics experience

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud services

• Practical experience with Azure Data Lake

• Strong SQL skills

• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing & business intelligence, and data mining

• Experience with DataOps

• Previous exposure to Machine Learning projects

• Experience with OCR and IDP or Azure AI Document Intelligence

• Knowledge of NLP and text analytics

• Multilingual document processing experience is a strong advantage

• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development practices

• Strong communication skills; able to work in an international distributed team

• Good command of English
