Description

Join the team building Seznam Assistant, working on new ways to access and use information using machine learning and large language models. You will design and implement backend services and applications, write and refine production code (including with code-generation tools and AI agents), and collaborate on technical solutions from design through delivery. The role emphasizes modern engineering practices and working with high-demand, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of Seznam Assistant and new features

• Design application structure and complex software solutions

• Write and update code independently and with code-generation tools / AI agents

• Work on ML and LLM components

• Collaborate on technical solution design and implementation

• Develop and operate backend services and applications

Requirements

• Strong Python knowledge and programming experience

• Ability to design application structure or complex software solutions and code independently (with code-generation tools acceptable)

• Experience building applications using ML and LLMs

• Willingness to collaborate in a team, participate in solution design, and finish tasks end-to-end

• Bonus: experience with distributed systems at high load

• Bonus: knowledge of Go (used for some backends) and TypeScript (used for the frontend)
