Description

Responsible for operating and optimizing the company’s hybrid data center and network environment—from local VMware and SAP landscapes (including satellite systems) to Azure Cloud and Office 365. You will harden global systems, manage firewall and backup concepts, and establish security standards to protect both IT and production. You will also ensure reliable OT/Shopfloor networking and lead business-critical IT projects such as NIS-2 implementation.

Responsibilities

• Steer and optimize hybrid data center and network operations (VMware, SAP landscapes, Azure Cloud, Office 365)

• Harden global systems; manage firewall and backup concepts; establish security standards

• Secure and optimize IT infrastructure in the OT environment; ensure smooth networking of the machine landscape

• Lead business-critical IT projects, including designing and implementing regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS-2)

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Network Administrator, or IT specialist for system integration

• In-depth knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365

• Practical knowledge of network, firewall, backup, and security technologies

• Experience operating SAP system landscapes
