Description

Manage and ensure the secure, stable, and cost-effective operation of central application systems. Own the full lifecycle of applications—from introduction through operations to replacement. Analyze requirements, coordinate changes/releases/enhancements with business units and external service providers, and contribute to application-related IT project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure, stable, and economically efficient operation of key application systems
• Manage application lifecycle from rollout to operation and eventual replacement
• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop suitable solution approaches
• Coordinate changes, releases, and enhancements in close collaboration with business units and providers
• Manage external partners and monitor compliance with agreed service and quality standards
• Support IT projects and take responsibility for application-focused implementation tasks

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree with IT focus or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in application management or operation of application systems
• Knowledge of lifecycle, change, and requirements management
• Experience steering external service providers and collaborating with functional areas
• Structured, analytical, solution-oriented approach and readiness to take responsibility
• Strong communication, presentation, and moderation skills
