Description

You will develop and evolve backend services in a fully microservices environment using .NET 6+ and C#. The role includes designing and implementing REST APIs and integration interfaces, applying DDD and CQRS, and building asynchronous communication between services via message brokers. You will also help shape solutions for scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET 6+ / C# in a microservices architecture

• Design and implement REST APIs and integration interfaces

• Apply DDD and CQRS in service design

• Implement asynchronous inter-service communication using message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)

• Develop and run applications in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure

• Work with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts

• Deploy through existing CI/CD pipelines and verify correct application behavior after release

• Perform code reviews, automate testing, and follow software engineering best practices

• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and a shared DevOps team

• Share know-how and support less experienced teammates

• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and system components

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development, with substantial experience in .NET / C#

• Very good knowledge of modern .NET (.NET 6+) and ASP.NET Core

• Practical experience with microservices-based systems

• Practical knowledge and use of DDD and CQRS

• Experience with asynchronous communication and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs or similar)

• Cloud experience (preferably Microsoft Azure; otherwise AWS)

• Practical Docker experience and basic orientation in Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD processes and ability to independently carry out standard deployments

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs

• Knowledge of common design patterns, clean code, and SOLID principles

• Ability to independently analyze technical problems, propose solutions, and discuss pros/cons

• Communicative Czech or Slovak

• English for technical documentation and everyday technical communication
