Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (GenAI S&OP)

Senior

145,000 - 170,000 USD/yr

Seattle, WA

Description

Own core functions that drive planning automation and optimization for the 0–2 year horizon of AWS’s rapidly growing AI/ML server footprint. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate server requirements (power, materials, manufacturing capacity, etc.) into forward-looking delivery plans, and build systems that automate and optimize planning strategies to enable scaling. Lead the global S&OP cycle with trusted single-source signals, executive planning forums, decision frameworks, KPI measurement, and continuous improvement.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own the global S&OP cycle with end-to-end weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence aligning demand signals with supply, power, and capital plans.
  • Deliver a trusted single source of truth reconciling financial plans, sales & growth outlooks, NPI roadmaps, transition ramps, and prior POR commitments.
  • Run executive planning forums; frame one-way vs. two-way-door decisions, articulate trade-offs, and secure leadership alignment across AIS, EC2, S3, EBS, Finance, and Energy.
  • Architect planning systems by guiding software teams to automate demand-, supply-, and scenario-planning workflows (e.g., Connect, o9, Infor, Manhattan) and maintain interim manual mechanisms until automation is in place.
  • Build decision frameworks using constrained-planning models to surface risks and levers under power, permitting, or component shortages.
  • Measure what matters by defining KPIs and dashboards for forecast accuracy, inventory turns, build-plan adherence, and capacity-delivery cycle time.
  • Champion continuous improvement through digital-transformation sprints to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve planning maturity across AIS.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with a large cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technology field.
  • Experience in data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Benefits

Base salary range: $148,700–$201,200 annually (USA, WA, Seattle). Package may include sign-on payments and RSUs. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, life coverage), EAP and mental health support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
