Focus: Commissioning, qualification, and on-site testing of MOCVD deposition systems

Description

You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical commissioning and qualification of MOCVD systems and their automatic load/unload equipment following standardized test procedures. The role includes helium leak search, mechanical setup and alignment of MOCVD reactors, on-site installation at customer sites, and troubleshooting of pneumatic valve controls. You will also support customer acceptance tests with the Sales team and contribute to the development of new test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical commissioning and qualification of MOCVD systems and automatic load/unload equipment
• Conduct helium leak detection on reactors and piping/pipework systems
• Perform mechanical adjustment and alignment work on MOCVD reactors
• Install systems and automatic load/unload equipment on-site at customer locations
• Troubleshoot and test pneumatic valve control systems
• Support customer acceptance (in close cooperation with Sales Managers)
• Support installation of systems across Europe
• Ensure test quality within your area of responsibility
• Take ownership of customer communication
• Contribute to creating new test procedures
• Work closely with related functions, especially Core Engineering, Operations Engineering, and Customer Service

Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship as an electrician/electrical technician, automation technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or comparable technical training
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness for occasional Europe-wide travel
