Description

Teach computer science for the 2nd stage of primary school (middle school) using modern, hands-on methods. Help students build digital competencies and strengthen logical and informatics thinking through practical, technology-supported lessons and projects. Work with a Czech and international teaching team, with additional administrative/organizational tasks and substitute teaching possible for higher workload.

Responsibilities

• Teach IT and computer science to middle-school students

• Develop students’ digital competencies, and their logical and informatics thinking

• Deliver practically focused lessons using modern technologies

• Support students with projects, innovative teaching methods, and inquiry-driven activities

• Collaborate with a Czech and international pedagogical team

• (For full-time) take part in school administration, organization, and substitute teaching

Requirements

• Appropriate subject expertise in IT and informatics/computer science

• Ability to engage and motivate students and encourage independent thinking

• Communicative English skills with active classroom use

• Openness to modern educational methods and innovation

• Positive attitude toward working with children; independence and reliability

• Pedagogical qualification meeting legal requirements, or willingness to complete it as required by legislation

• Experience teaching in a bilingual or international environment (advantage)
