Description

You will develop and operate foundational ASBX services that enable Amazon builders to develop, deploy, and operate software in isolated, secure partitions. The work includes building automation for air-gapped environments, improving cross-partition deployment parity, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems issues to improve the builder experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor deployment health across isolated regions

• Perform code reviews and collaborate on designs for new ASBX service capabilities in air-gapped environments

• Troubleshoot deployment pipeline issues end-to-end (orchestration logs to configuration mismatches) and deliver fixes

• Own and improve critical services supporting deployment, continuous delivery, integration testing, feature management, and multi-region replication

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Associate's degree or above, or CND, or GSEC

• Experience programming with at least one modern language: C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby

• Experience with tools for automation across build, test, release, and/or monitoring

• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and software development methodology

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Python scripting

• Experience with highly concurrent, high-throughput systems and complex distributed systems
