Description

You will administer GIS systems, databases, and web servers, and extend the GIS platform by developing modules. In project work you will handle complex geodata processing tasks such as analyses, migrations, and interface programming. You will also create and deliver GIS application trainings, provide user support, and ensure quality in the GIS data inventory.

Responsibilities

• Administration of GIS systems, databases, and web servers

• Extend GIS with in-house developed modules

• Administer GIS components used in workforce management systems

• Work on geodata management and processing projects (complex analyses, migrations, interface programming)

• Create and conduct GIS application trainings

• Provide end-user support

• Concept and execute quality assurance measures for GIS data

Requirements

• Completed relevant degree (e.g., Geoinformatics/Surveying, Geovisualization, Geography, Business Informatics) or comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge in GIS/geodata management and in at least one programming language: Java, C#, JavaScript

• Practical knowledge of CAD and GIS systems

• Structured, analytical and decision-ready approach with a solution-oriented mindset

• Willingness and initiative to onboard to additional topics in geoinformatics

• Friendly, competent appearance in day-to-day interaction with customers and colleagues
