Description

Lead a strategic, large-scale data center construction project from initiation through client handover. Manage the full project team across all phases and ensure delivery meets schedule, budget, quality, and the highest safety standards. Own commercial performance and oversee risk and contract management, from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover—while representing the project to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful delivery of a strategic data center project

• Lead and manage the entire project team throughout all project phases

• Ensure project delivery aligned with schedule, budget, quality requirements, and safety standards

• Own commercial performance, risk management, and contract management

• Oversee planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities

• Represent the project to clients, authorities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

• Build and develop high-performing project teams and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable discipline

• Extensive leadership experience managing large and complex construction projects (ideally data center or high-tech)

• Proven track record delivering major projects with value exceeding €500 million

• Several years of experience in senior project leadership positions

• Strong expertise in project management, contract management, and risk management

• Experience with international contract forms such as FIDIC or NEC is an advantage

• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
