Cloud Solution Architect

Description

As a Cloud Solution Architect focused on Security & Identity, you help large enterprise customers implement Microsoft security and identity solutions across on-premises and cloud. You deliver proactive services—education workshops, assessments, and tailored guidance—and provide troubleshooting support in partnership with Microsoft Support to expedite incident resolution. You will also drive improvements across security, identity, and access management to support a universal identity platform.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver proactive and reactive support, with onsite presence as needed
• Collaborate within a virtual account team on mobile-first and cloud-first service delivery plans
• Identify and manage goals and opportunities across security, identity, and access management
• Proactively manage delivery: spot performance issues, analyze problems, and propose solutions
• Coordinate with support, account, product engineering, and other stakeholders to streamline customer experience
• Apply lessons learned to drive continuous process and delivery improvements
• Meet with customers and account teams to articulate service offerings
• Share and gain knowledge through communities
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and/or IT consulting/support/architecture
• OR Master’s degree in a related field AND 6+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and/or consulting/architecture
• OR equivalent experience
• At least 3+ years of identity-related experience across multiple technologies
• Experience integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD (e.g., Azure AD Connect, Active Directory Federation Services)
• Certification in Microsoft or other cloud technologies or security
• Ability to meet security screening requirements; must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
• Microsoft cannot sponsor a work visa for this role

Benefits

• Eligible for benefits and other compensation (role-dependent)
• Base pay range: USD $106,400–$203,600 per year (U.S.); USD $137,600–$222,600 per year (SF Bay Area & NYC metro)
