Description

You will operate and maintain a strategic self-hosted ServiceNow platform in Financial IT, ensuring high availability and supporting users at the 3rd level. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and administration of multiple ServiceNow instances (development, test, acceptance, production) as well as deploying new or changed content through releases. You will monitor the platform, resolve error cases, and continuously improve performance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability of the strategic ServiceNow platform in Financial IT
• Install, configure, and manage the ServiceNow system architecture based on Oracle and Unix
• Administer different instances (development, test, acceptance, production)
• Deploy new/changed content as part of release processes
• Provide 3rd-level support for ServiceNow users; handle platform administration requests via tickets or other channels
• Develop approaches for continuous improvement of platform performance and availability
• Monitor the platform and drive solution finding and implementation during incident/error cases

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable; or completed technical IT-focused training
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and develop solutions further
• Structured, goal-oriented working style with consistent implementation of improvements
• Ideally initial experience or touchpoints with ServiceNow
• Advantageous: experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, Shell/JavaScript scripting, or monitoring tools such as Splunk/Grafana
• Willingness for weekend shifts and participation in on-call rotation
