Description

Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS, including designing and implementing new features in close collaboration with business departments, customers, and sales. Integrate REST APIs and web services, connect backend and embedded devices, and support app quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous optimization while staying up to date with mobile development trends.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Android and iOS mobile applications

• Conceive and implement new app features together with specialist departments, customers, and sales

• Integrate interfaces such as REST APIs and web services and connect backend systems

• Integrate interfaces to embedded devices

• Conduct code reviews and quality assurance measures

• Analyze errors, perform tests, and continuously optimize existing applications

• Plan, implement, and test app releases

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Monitor new technologies and trends in mobile development

Requirements

• Completed education in application development (degree or vocational training); frontend required, backend desired

• Good knowledge of Android development with Kotlin and Java, plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• iOS development knowledge with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit is highly desirable

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin is desirable

• Knowledge of integrating REST APIs and database systems is desirable

• Experience with Git and modern development processes is desirable

• CI/CD pipeline and automated testing knowledge is desirable

• Design, implementation, and testing experience with C and C++ is desirable

• CAN knowledge is desirable

• Analytical thinking and structured work approach, including prioritizing parallel tasks

• High initiative and responsibility, including asking questions when unclear and optimizing the working environment

• Teamwork and strong communication skills within the software team and when dealing with internal and external customers

• Solution-oriented mindset and interest in new technologies with continuous learning

• Good German and English skills; French is helpful
