Description

You will design, develop, and modernize Android applications for a large-scale mobile platform used by millions of users. The work focuses on performance, scalability, developer experience, and high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment. You will also help introduce modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development workflows.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications with performance, reliability, and scalability in mind.
• Refactor and modernize existing codebases to improve maintainability, architecture, and long-term sustainability.
• Build, enhance, and support mobile CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, testing, and deployment.
• Drive automation and improve mobile developer experience.
• Write well-tested, production-ready code following best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development
• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow
• Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components, MVVM, and Clean Architecture
• Proven experience integrating REST APIs and external services
• Strong knowledge of Firebase configuration and implementation
• Extensive experience designing and maintaining mobile CI/CD solutions using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Experience optimizing Android applications, build performance, and release processes
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, code reviews, and Agile methodologies
• Professional English skills (minimum B2)
