Description

Assist with developing and maintaining the organization’s ISMS, including IT emergency/incident management and risk management. Support ISMS documentation, internal and external audits, and information security awareness and training. Provide information security advice for projects, changes, and procurements and take over the Information Security Officer’s duties when acting in the deputy role.

Responsibilities

• Develop the ISMS, including IT emergency management and risk management

• Create, review, maintain, and control ISMS documents

• Participate in internal and external audits and track required corrective actions

• Support awareness and training measures for information security

• Advise and support projects, changes, and purchases regarding information security

• Coordinate with the Data Protection Officer, IT and specialist departments, and national working groups

• Assume the Information Security Officer’s tasks in case of representation

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with further training as an information technician

• Degree in (business) informatics, IT/information security, or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of information security management based on BSI IT-Grundschutz, including relevant standards and frameworks (BSI standards, ISO/IEC 27001)

• BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner/Consultant certification (desired, not required)

• Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, cloud technologies, encryption procedures, and IT security

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex topics

• Flexibility for varied tasks

• Independent, analytical, and self-responsible way of working

• High commitment and teamwork

• Very good German and good English skills in speech and writing
