Description

You will strategically develop the organization’s Microsoft 365 platform and design the transformation of a hybrid IT landscape into a modern, secure, cloud-native target architecture. Own architecture, design, and continuous advancement of central Microsoft 365 services while reducing operational complexity through standardization and automation. Establish and evolve governance, security, and compliance standards (including Zero Trust) and advise leadership on strategic Microsoft technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a future-ready cloud roadmap and actively shape the cloud-native strategy

• Take end-to-end responsibility for architecture and design of the Microsoft 365 environment

• Ensure operations and continuous development of key Microsoft 365 services

• Support transformation from hybrid to cloud-native operating models; reduce complexity via standardization and automation

• Introduce and evolve governance, security, and compliance standards, including Zero Trust, Identity & Access Management, and Microsoft ecosystem security/compliance capabilities

• Evaluate new Microsoft technologies and advise management and business teams on strategic technology choices

• Lead complex cloud and Microsoft 365 projects technically, coach colleagues, and coordinate external service providers/partners

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in Microsoft and cloud environments

• Proven expertise in architecture and operation of complex Microsoft 365 environments

• Demonstrated experience in transforming and migrating hybrid IT landscapes to cloud-native target architectures

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Modern Workplace

• Knowledge of Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Power Platform

• Experience with automation using PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API

• Strong architectural/solution thinking and strategic, entrepreneurial mindset

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to management, business units, and IT stakeholders

• Experience in technical leadership of transformation projects and management of interdisciplinary teams and external partners

• High implementation orientation, ability to shape solutions, and strategic foresight
