Description

Own functional expertise for SAP S/4HANA Finance processes with primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Intercompany (IC). Support OpenText VIM invoice automation workflows, integrate and troubleshoot EDI/cross-system financial interfaces, and handle MM–FI and SD–FI integration scenarios. Participate in S/4HANA implementations and finance transformation projects, including UAT, defect resolution, and go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional ownership for end-to-end Accounts Payable processes: invoice capture, validation, posting, approvals, payment runs, vendor reconciliation, and exception handling
• Manage and continuously improve OpenText VIM workflows (automation, approvals, exceptions, SAP integration)
• Design, support, and monitor Intercompany processes (intercompany billing, cross-company postings, settlements, reconciliation, reporting)
• Own functional EDI and cross-system financial integrations: investigate interface issues, validate mappings, ensure accurate data flows
• Support MM–FI and SD–FI integrations, including AR postings from EDI, SD billing, and external billing systems
• Participate in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and finance transformation projects as a Finance functional representative
• Lead/support UAT, defect resolution, testing, deployment, and go-live stabilization for finance processes
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and drive corrective actions and process improvements across SAP and connected systems
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, external vendors, and integration teams to deliver automation and straight-through processing
• Gather functional requirements, prepare functional specifications, and validate solutions against business requirements
• Ensure compliance and process accuracy across tax, withholding tax, regulatory requirements, reconciliation, and financial reporting

Requirements

• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, particularly AP, AR, and Intercompany processes
• Practical experience with OpenText VIM, including workflows, invoice processing, exception handling, and approvals
• Solid understanding of EDI interfaces and cross-system financial integrations (troubleshooting, data mapping, testing, monitoring)
• Strong knowledge of MM–FI and SD–FI integration, including financial impacts of procurement, sales/billing, and intercompany processes
• Experience with reconciliation, error handling, and root-cause analysis in complex integrated SAP environments
• Experience in global, multi-company, and multi-currency environments with differing business/regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to investigate issues independently
• Ability to communicate effectively with Finance, IT, technical integration teams, and external vendors
• Experience supporting or participating in SAP S/4HANA implementations/rollouts/upgrades/enhancements or finance transformation projects
• Knowledge of invoice automation, EDI standards, and financial integration tools
• Familiarity with Vertex and/or SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) is advantageous
• Experience with BlackLine or other financial close and reconciliation solutions is advantageous
