Description

You will work on delivering and scaling Marketplace integration solutions, partnering with a system analyst or solutions architect and using AI agents as core development tools. The role covers the full cycle: from clarifying business needs to implementation, production support, and ongoing stability improvements. You will also design and operate AI agents (context, instructions, tools) and integrate them into CI/CD while optimizing quality, time, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex integration solutions for Marketplace (REST and SOAP services; ESB flows), including integrations with external partners
• Make technical decisions considering architecture, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Work with analysts and business to refine requirements, estimate effort, evaluate change impact, and provide recommendations with consequences
• Organize AI agent work: design/improve context, instructions, and tools; integrate with CI/CD processes
• Ensure stability of owned systems, resolve technical escalations, and reduce technical debt
• Evaluate AI tools and models and optimize quality, time, and cost with data protection and granted permissions in mind
• Promote engineering best practices and support others in designing and validating solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Java software development experience with deployment and maintenance of production systems
• Very good knowledge of Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Practical experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining REST and SOAP integrations and asynchronous communication (including with external partners)
• Knowledge of ESB mechanisms; ability to design and diagnose integration flows (routing, transformation, and error handling)
• Strong SQL skills; experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Regular use of AI agents in software development; ability to explain agent organization and how results are verified using concrete examples
• Ability to set up agent execution environments (project context, instructions, tool access, automated quality controls)
• Practical experience with CI/CD, automated tests, monitoring, and production security
• Ability to collaborate with business: clarify objectives, explain consequences of technical decisions, and align on feasible solutions
• Independent ownership of tasks: identify risks and take responsibility for quality and stability in your scope
• Polish C1 and English B2+
• Hybrid availability: at least 3 days per week in the office in Gdańsk or Warsaw
