Description

You will prepare, complete, and deliver the physical part of network implementations and support activations from assignment to handover. The job focuses on quality execution of fiber optics, cabling, racks, ODFs, and patching to defined standards, including vendor oversight and thorough documentation with photos and recorded real status. After onboarding, there is also an opportunity to contribute to simpler connection/extension designs or templated implementations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize the physical implementation and support activations from assignment to delivery
• Ensure quality of optics, cabling, racks, ODFs, and patching according to standards
• Monitor subcontractors/vendors to deliver on time, with required quality, and traceable outcomes
• Create photo documentation, labeling, and record the real status into documentation and tickets
• Prepare the site so it is physically ready for subsequent activation or work by another technician
• Verify reality against the building/site validation manual
• Flag cases where a proposal changes the standard, capacity, or target solution for the site

Requirements

• Minimum secondary technical education
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Practical experience with the physical layer of networks
• Orientation in optics: termination, patching, ODF, and racks
• Knowledge of cabling, cable routes, penetrations, and working at customer/field sites
• Valid driving license group B
• Ability to read assignments, maintain standards, and complete work through handover
• Willingness to write clear field notes, provide photo documentation, and record current status
• Ability to supervise providers and insist on rework of low-quality execution
