Description

Develop and maintain a complex enterprise banking system that supports corporate customers in managing accounts, payments, transfers, files, and confirmations independently. Work across monolithic and microservices architectures while modernizing and migrating from Java 8 to newer Java versions (Java 21+). You will deliver backend services and REST APIs, fix production issues, and support compliance- and security-related improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application features for corporate clients

• Implement new business and compliance-driven functionality

• Debug production issues and resolve defects

• Build and evolve backend services using Java and Spring (Spring Framework, Spring Boot)

• Design and implement REST APIs

• Maintain and extend both monolithic and microservices components

• Participate in system modernization and technology migration (Java 8 → newer Java)

• Analyze and develop legacy code

• Create unit tests and apply TDD practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience

• Minimum 1 year of Angular experience (15–20% frontend work)

• Excellent knowledge of Java (especially Java 7/8) with readiness to migrate to newer versions

• Excellent knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• Experience with Maven

• Knowledge of Git

• Excellent SQL knowledge

• Experience designing and implementing backend services per specification

• Experience creating and maintaining REST API

• Practical unit testing experience

• Knowledge of testing practices and TDD

• Experience with large, complex, long-term enterprise systems

• Ability to analyze and work with legacy code

• Knowledge of JSP and JavaScript

• Knowledge of Jasmine

• Experience in Agile / SAFe Agile environments
