Description

You will operate and continuously improve IT infrastructure and platform services, ensuring stable and performant operation. Responsibilities include administering HCI environments, distributed backup and recovery, SQL databases and Windows Server systems, plus building and optimizing monitoring solutions. You will also plan capacity, performance, and availability measures and support global IT rollouts with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop HCI solutions across Europe, Asia, and the USA

• Ensure stable and high-performance operation of infrastructure platforms

• Plan and implement capacity, performance, and availability measures

• Operate and evolve distributed backup and recovery solutions

• Administer and optimize SQL databases and Microsoft Windows Server systems

• Build, operate, and improve monitoring solutions

• Collaborate with international IT teams and external service providers

• Support global IT projects and rollouts

Requirements

• Degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineering, or comparable field

• Typically 5+ years of experience operating IT infrastructure and platforms

• Strong knowledge of HCI infrastructures (e.g., VMware, Nutanix)

• Backup and recovery expertise, especially Veeam Backup & Replication

• Storage system knowledge (e.g., Data Domain)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server

• SQL database experience, including clustering technologies

• Monitoring tool experience (e.g., Nagios)

• Experience operating highly available systems and critical infrastructure

• Analytical and structured approach to complex problems

• Understanding of IT service processes and operating models
